I am setting a record I think with the timing of this blog being only six days
after my prior blog. I am very motivated to write lately and so I figure why
not take advantage of my blog in addition to my journal.

I am feeling so at peace and happy in this moment. I am in the process
of developing a brochure for my Reiki and Yoga Business. I am feeling
very grateful to have the time to do this!!!

I have been trying to develop yoga classes here at Ocean Crest Apts. It is
a challenge but I think today I finally realized more of what I can do on my
part to help things perhaps shift here. The shift must come from me!! I
realized today that I need to set aside the time I set aside for teaching
yoga here as a time for me. If I come to the mind set that I am here to
practice yoga regardless of what happens it is much easier. And so when
no one shows I simply end up with my own personal practice and what a
blessing that is! Also I am figuring I am always educating others whether or
not they actually join me. Very often there is someone in the gym there to
participate in their own workout as well. They will see me doing my yoga
practice and could have the opportunity to ask questions and at the very
least see what style of Yoga I enjoy. It also offers me an opportunity to greet
various residents and who knows, if our association is not Yoga or Reiki,
it may very well be as an acquaintance or possibly friend. In addition I may
find they have a valuable service or connection for me.

This morning I met a woman coming in to do her own workout on an
exercise bike. She was new to the building. I was doing my Self
Reiki when she arrived. I had finished my yoga practice and I then went
into Meditation. Prior to my leaving we talked briefly about Yoga classes and
Reiki and I gave her my business card.

Well, time is certainly passing and a lot has been happening. It is difficult for me to
keep up with blogging. In October I went to India for about 13 days. I
went through People to People, an organization set up by Eisenhower,
one of our previous presidents.

I chose to go to India in this fashion rather than as a Yoga
Instructor seeking a Yoga adventure. Instead I wanted to experience
India from the inside out through a professional exchange program
and also with typical tourism events. I was amazed by India.
I returned from India about a week and a half ago and am still integrating
all that I saw.It was an experience that everyone in America should
have the privelage of experiencing. It is difficult to describe fully what I have
experienced. It was very exciting, shocking, fun and eye opening. I saw
everything from people with extreme wealth to extreme poverty. There
were people and children begging in the streets. Babies with bellies you
would see on a Unicef commercial. I would say overall India set the tone for me for
November and that is a time to be Thankful.
